I am an educator who lives in the town of Basehor, KS in Leavenworth County, KS. Currently I am a School Library Media Specialist at Compass Elementary in the Hickman Mills Public Schools, Kansas City, MO. I have been in the field of education for thirty years and have served in several areas of education, such as: classroom instructor, building administrator, district curriculum team writer, staff development coordinator, NCLB building chair, Independent Schools NCLB building chair, Leadership building team member, Special Education building coordinator, and English department chair, just to name a few of the positions I have held with tenacity and honor. I am excited to work with students and adults to encourage and support each individual as they grow in becoming an avid reader!
I am currently working on a children’s book that focuses on a bright 7 year old girl named Suzi as she navigates the world of learning and growing as a student. I have excellent editing skills and would love to help you with editing any current writing you may be working on.
