I am a technology & media exec with a fly-fishing problem. I am currently the head of SMB Digital Ad Solutions at Vista, the expert design and marketing partner for small businesses worldwide. Prior to this, I was CEO of Ripl -- the social media video and marketing software app that enables small business owners to build their online brand and customer engagement. Prior to Vista and Ripl, I led global marketing teams for established technology and information services companies (ProQuest; RealNetworks; Microsoft) and I co-founded/built/soldSpring Creek Group(acquired byMediabrandsdivision ofInterpublic Group[NYSE: IPG]).

I live in Seattle, but I also spend quality time in San Francisco, New York, Idaho, and overseas for work and fun.

I am a father, a fly-fisherman, a Sounders and Arsenal fanatic, a live music lover, a Balanchine appreciator, a biodiesel burner, a bike commuter, a Neal Stephenson and William Gibson fanboy, a late sleeper, and a master maker of spicy mushroom soup.
