George Hasenberg

Outside of his successful consulting career, George Hasenberg is currently driven to offer hope and inspiration to individuals suffering from disease and disability. Mr. Hasenberg himself survived a rare sarcoma, a gastrointestinal stromal tumor with a 25 percent survival rate. He overcame the disease by implementing his own lifestyle changes after doctors advised him conventional therapies would be ineffectual. Mr. Hasenberg has written a book documenting his situation in the effort to offer inspiration to cancer patients and their families. He has pledged a portion of the proceeds of book sales to cancer research.

George Hasenberg has also become involved with the creation of a foundation that aims to provide horticulture therapy (HT) to individuals with disabilities. HT therapy has been implemented in many rehab centers, hospitals, mental-health facilities, and senior centers with documented positive results. Mr. Hasenberg has also pledged a million dollars to organizations in the Delaware Valley area that aid individuals with disabilities.

An insightful consultant and mediator, George Hasenberg began his career 30 years ago after pursuing a business degree at Rutgers University. Afterward, Mr. Hasenberg founded an aftermarket automotive-products distributor and created business software to run the business more efficiently.
