Telecommunications Engineer and MBA, I led the Entrepreneurship Area at La Salle Technova Barcelona until 2012, where I managed a community of 100+ startups looking for investment and gave them support in their business development.

Early in 2011, together with two colleagues from the MBA, we founded first equity crowdfunding platform in Spain (Emprendit SL), where we got €100K+ from private and public investors and signed several agreements with business schools, accelerators and incubators.

Then, in 2012, I went on to direct Wayra in Barcelona, the most global, connected and tech driven Open Innovation Hub in the world, powered by Telefónica to support tech startups with projects in Europe and Latin America.

During my eight years at Wayra Barcelona I raised €32M+ from third party investors and had 4 exits with high financial returns for Wayra. Additionally, I’ve been observer in the Advisory Board of all 50 companies invested by Wayra Barcelona, being part of their strategic decisions.

I’ve been also speaker at entrepreneurship conferences and universities and have my own personal investments in super cool startups.

In 2020, I had the opportunity to share all my knowledge in Open Innovation with all comercial people managing Enterprise Accounts in Telefónica in the Mediterranean area and was still in touch with startups offering Telefónica’s professional services related to public clouds (AWS, GCP and Azure) and cybersec.

One year later, I'm managing the Digital Innovation Area in Telefónica (East Area), covering Catalonia, Valencia, Balearic islands, Aragon and Murcia territories.

I always want to face new challenges, work as a team and be results oriented.

Apart from being passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, every weekend I love biking, sailing and do anything related with the sea: SUP, kayak, surf, kitesurf, regattas... You can find me at Club Nàutic Sitges.
