I am passionate about teaching and learning and in particular e-learning in all its formats; distance learning, flexible learning, blended learning, social learning, mobile learning and any other format it may take. I try to keep abreast of disruptive technologies and am an advocate for removing the "e" from e-learning as it is now embedded into everyday learning, in my view.

Critical thinking and lateral thinking coupled with a low tolerance for hyperbole and spin are qualities that I value highly.

I am a fan of Sir Ken Robinson, Edward De Bono, Sugata Mitra, James Seely Brown and George Carlin, especially their views on education at large. Recently I have come across works by Dr. Roger Schank and Manu Kapur covering education that have impressed me.
