When you have the freedom to do what ever you like to do and if you are not afraid to do any thing, there are no limits to what you can do. So what do mice like to do?
This mouse has been in Hong Kong since 1995 and has been very fortunate to meet and experience many different things as a visitor and also as a local. Having lived both on the Kowloon side and Hong Kong Island, there are differences. For some reason, local people who live on the Kowloon side rarely venture over to the Hong Kong Island and vice versa... Don't know why. but if you carry the feeling of being a tourist then you just don't care and go where the action and adventures takes you..
I remember when I first came to Hong Kong, I felt like this was such a big place... I would go to one district and then to another thinking that they were very far apart. After about half a year later of wondering around on weekends did I get the full idea that "hey, this isn't such a big place after all... it just has a lot of districts".
I think I have been to every MTR station that there is (except for the new one that just opened up). But when I first started venturing around Hong Kong I remember seeing the "Subway" signs and running to them when ever I got lost. For those of you who don't know, in Canada "Subway" is the same thing as the MTR. But here the subway is just an underground walk way! so I learned fast to look for the MTR signs.
Looking back on the years here, I only have good memories and see many more in the future. Thanks to all the people that I have met here where I would never had the chance to meet if I stayed in Canada.
