Senzo Ngcobo is a teacher by profession. He taught for 10 years at St. Joseph’s
High School, New Hanover. He was a Zulu, History, English and Tourism teacher.
He started his teaching career in 1996 to 2006. He did his teaching diploma at
KwaGqikazi College of Education. He did Higher Diploma in Education at
University of Natal majoring in Computer Science. He also did ICDL in 2002 with
New Horizon, Pietermaritzburg.

Senzo is currently the SchoolnetSA ICT consultant. He has travelled South Africa training teachers in ICT integration. One of the notable projects he has been part of is the ICT4RED Project, which rolled out teacher and learner tablets to selected Cofimvaba schools in the Eastern Cape Province. The project also provided Change Leadership Workshops to school leaders and subject advisers. Senzo worked on the Intel Project. He travelled the country
helping teacher novices in ICT by using the Intel Getting Started Course. Senzo
was part of the Learning Gains Through Play project targeting teachers and
learners in grade R and 1. He has also trained KZN Subject Advisers in two courses: Using Digital Resources in the Classroom and Tablets in the Classroom. His training prepares Subject Advisers to support their teachers. Senzo has travelled to other African countries such as Kenya in 2010 to train their trainers on the Intel Getting Started Course as well as in Zambia in 2013, Namibia in 2013 and Lesotho in 2014. In October 2014 and 2015 , he travelled to Kampala, Uganda, with Mr Gerald Roos for the orientation workshop for the teachers that were to take part in the CCTI (Commonwealth of Learning Certificate for Teacher ICT Integration) online course.
