Simar Brar

Welcome! I'm Simar Kaur Brar. Yes, my name rhymes perfectly. You can always catch me playing with the dogs at any gathering, I am extremely passionate about animals. In addition to that, I am also very driven to music, experiencing new things, and furthering my leadership skills.

I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada until my family decided to pack up and start a new life in Troy, Michigan. Although I have been a resident of the United States longer than my stay in Canada, my heart is very much still in tune with my birth city. We travel back often to visit family as my dad's side is half French-Canadian. I have wonderful memories in both places and adore going back to visit. As I grow older, every trip we make to America's Hat evokes emotion from within me, one that longs for the time we next visit.

I love connecting with people, another reason why I adore having new experiences. Whether it was a bad or good one, there is always an interesting story behind it and new people you've met through it.

Leadership is very important to me. It's not all about personal leadership to me, it's also about bettering those around you. Those who you call a team, who you spend countless hours with, searching for new ways to make something better and more efficient for others. Being a leader is something I value deeply and hope to inspire others to follow a similar path.
