Originally from Long Island. Graduated undergrad in 2007 from Muhlenberg College in PA. Received MBA in 2014 from Centenary College in NJ. Live in NJ with my beautiful wife and energetic son & daughter. Played & coached DIII college lacrosse 2004-2011. All-Conference defenseman in 2006. I ran Sprint Triathlons for five years to stay healthy and feed my competitive thirst. Now, I joined my company soccer team as well as another through Jersey Club Sports.
Played soccer from 4-14 years old. Refereed travel soccer for two years following that. Won Rookie Referee of the Year for Long Island. Won Best Young Male Referee for Eastern New York.
Currently work for Pinnacle Foods as a Procurement Manager (well-known brands include Birds Eye frozen vegetables, Duncan Hines cake mixes, Wishbone salad dressing and Lender's bagels).
My soccer fanaticism started in 2010 when I entered the World Cup ticket lottery and won tickets to two games in Cape Town, South Africa. I was a RBNY season ticket holder from 2011-2014. I'm a member of the American Outlaws and founded the AO Morristown, NJ chapter.
Since the 2014 World Cup, I cannot watch and read enough about soccer. My wife yells at me all the time since I am on Twitter non-stop when I should be playing with my kids. I want to be immersed in it. I'll watch any game, but my favorite teams are RBNY, USMNT and Arsenal. I focus my writing around RBNY, MLS and USMNT.
My brother (President of AO Queens and a founding member of the Third Rail, the NYCFC Supporters Club) has been my inspiration for starting this endeavor through discussions about game results, player ratings and transactions during the MLS season, EPL season and European transfer windows. It's time I turned that passion into something that I can put my own stamp on. Not enough of my friends or people at work follow soccer, so I'm always bursting at the seams to talk about it.
