Janet Crabb

Janet has lived along Chicago’s lakefront for the over 20 years, first on the north side now on the south, in Museum Park. She knows that one of the most unique and luxurious asset of Chicago living is the lakefront. Chicagoans define where they live, give simple street directions and spend much of their time running, biking, and rollerblading by the lake. Lakefront properties are highly sought after and some might even say addicting! As someone who has spent their life by the lake, she can’t picture leaving its picturesque scenery and seductive powers. As an avid sailor, she is uniquely attuned to the marketing needs – and wants – of the lakefront purchaser and seller.

Personal Background

Janet is a life-long Chicagoan, having grown up in the suburbs. Moving to Downtown during college, she never left! The daughter of an architect, contractor, Real Estate Broker and avid boater, Janet did not stray from the family legacy! Her background includes years of property management and appraisal before she started in brokerage.

After years of racing sailboats, Janet is giving back to the sport by running races and her involvement in the Race to Mackinac. As avid as she is about sailing, she is also passionate about giving back to her community, she donates a portion of every sale to the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation which specifically assists in housing-related issues.
