Marina Stojanovska, in 2003 was announced by the jury of the Macedonian State competition as the most impressive and talented young pianist of her native country, Macedonia. Marina is a pianist, accompanist and vocal couch. She made her debut with the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra at the age 14. She also appeared as a soloist in 2009 with the Lynn Philharmonic Orchestra, as a concerto competition winner. Marina has earned a Bachelor Degree in Piano form Lynn University, where she served as a piano faculty at the “Preparatory School of Music”. She earned her Master’s Degree in Piano performance from Indiana University- Jacobs School of Music, where she is she also earned a Performance Diploma, while serving as an Associate Piano Instructor.
She has worked with great artists such as: Andrei Diev, Yael Weiss, Norman Krieger, Daniel Shapiro, Olga Kern among others. She has been awarded prizes in many competition such as: First Prize in “Interfest Bitola" -2004, 2005; First Special Award in “ Chamber Music National Competition”-2005; Third Prize "Liszt-Bartok" -2006; First Prize “Ohridski Biseri"- 2010. Prize winner of the "New millennium" competition in 2005; Second Prize “Grey Perry Duo Piano Competition” -2010.
She has wide experience working with singers and served as a pianist and music director in New York for Camp Pontiac. She has given solo recitals in Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Germany and USA. She has appeared in public as a piano duo with her sister, known as “The Sisters Stojanovska” and was three times winner of the “Macedonia State Competition”.
