Allison L. Teixeira

I'm a strategic communications professional with experience in state government, progressive political advocacy, and higher education who's passionate about using communication as a tool to impact social issues and public policy. I'm currently working as communications director for Ami Bera for Congress: http://www.beraforcongress.com.

Temporarily living in the Sacramento area, I earned an M.A. in Communication Management at Emerson College in Boston, and my B.A. in English from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, one of my favorite places in the world. I've never seen a dog I didn't want to pet, but I try to restrain myself when I come into contact with service dogs. I love New England, especially South Coast, Mass., Rhode Island, and Boston, and, of course, I also love the Red Sox.
