I'm an Assistant Dean (Faculty of Humanities) and Senior Teaching Fellow (English Language Centre) at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with over 20 years' experience in higher education.
My interests are wide ranging: effective teaching in all its different forms; materials development and how it is finally changing; assessments and the future; and technology and how it can be used creatively in education, both to improve the learning experience, and to increase efficiency so reducing the administrative chores that are increasingly the bane of educators.
