Adam Meghji

Adam is the Co-founder and CTO of Peggy, the secure marketplace to buy and sell investment-grade art.

Adam has dedicated his career to startups creating technology that transforms how we work and play. His love for technology developed quickly as a curious child in the early days of the Internet, and his passion to create has never slowed since. He has held leadership roles at tech organizations of all sizes, from startup, to scale-up, to Fortune 500. 5 of the startups he was instrumental in launching & scaling resulted in Acquisition.

In 2011, Adam co-founded Universe.com (acq: Ticketmaster / Live Nation), a DIY event ticketing platform, where he served as a hands-on CTO from concept → launch → growth ➝ acquisition in 2015. Today, he serves as VP Cryptographic Ticketing at Ticketmaster, focusing on special projects using emerging technologies such as Blockchain.

Prior at Unata (acq: Instacart), he was instrumental in the early launch of a grocery shopping experience of the future. Earlier at Metavera (acq: Enterprise Rent-A-Car), Adam lead engineering and roll-out of the world's first independent car-sharing platform, including launching Enterprise Car Share, and Google's very first pilot project involving vehicles. While CTO at Ethos.io (ICO in 2017, acq: Voyager), Adam helped design, deliver, and scale a high-performance Blockchain team, platform, and secure mobile wallet app. He is actively involved in the Canadian startup scene as a mentor at Techstars and Founder Institute, particularly for portfolio companies leveraging Blockchain. Adam is also an investor at Real Ventures.
