Adrienne Jones writes the memoir blog No Points for Style, which started as a place to share her stories of life as the mother of a child with serious mental illness and has grown to include stories of her grandmother's youth in the heart of the Dust Bowl, her aunt's suicide, faith, trichotillomania, her family's experiments in healthy living, divorce, surviving over four years of alienation from her two eldest children, and much more. Her work has appeared at Jezebel.com, BlogHer.com and IndieInk.com, in Brain, Child Magazine, and numerous other publications. She won a 2013 BlogHer Voices of the Year award; you can watch the video of her reading the winning post on YouTube. She appeared on The Ricki Lake Show in spring 2013 in an episode called Inside Childhood Mental Illness. She lives in Albuquerque, NM with her husband and children.
