04/03/23 A community film evening with a selection of short adventure films from the London Mountain Film Festival (LMFF) showcasing inspiring people from around the world of mountain biking, climbing, wild swimming, high diving and kitesurfing.

We hand-picked some of the best films from this year’s LMFF, to share the joy and happiness the outdoors can provide! Meet a dozen inspiring people sharing their adventurous stories, for example:

  • Mountain Biking: Three friends build a famous track in Canada’s adventure capital Squamish, British Columbia, and Sonya Looney tells her inspirational story of how she combines the life of a professional MTB athlete while embracing young motherhood!
  • Climbing: The amazing French-Swiss Remy Brothers talk about their father Marcel Remy, unbelievably still climbing at the age of 99! And, watch Sonya Wilson describe how climbing can help deaf people form an outdoor climbing community.
  • Challenge: Watching French-Canadian high diver Lysanne Richard setting herself an ice cold challenge will leave you on the edge of your seat.
  • Wild Swimming: UK swimmers venturing out into calmer waters, explaining the benefits and taking you on an immersive journey of open water swimming.
  • and more…….

The evening is raising money for an outdoor charity close to our heart, the Surfers Against Sewage.
