Ajit Sivadasan

He manages a team of more than 300 Lenovo personnel, including internal employees and third-party team members spanning 10 countries worldwide. Ajit Sivadasan focuses on creating a total customer experience that spans diverse e-commerce platforms and devices, as well as business-to-business and business-to-customer operations.

Mr. Sivadasan earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at the University of Kerala in India, where he achieved a "top student" award for his extracurricular and academic performance. After working in India for a time as an industrial engineer and business analyst, Ajit Sivadasan completed his Master of Science in Industrial Management at Northern Illinois University. In 1999, he earned an MBA in Strategy and Finance at Claremont Graduate University in California, graduating in the top 5 percent of his class.

From 1999 to 2000, Ajit Sivadasan served as a Senior Consultant with Deloitte and Touche. He provided middle-market-management solutions to customers in the software development, direct marketing, and high-tech manufacturing spheres. Joining Gateway, Inc., in 2000, Mr. Sivadasan spent six years with the Irvine, California, firm as Executive Producer. He spearheaded the company's international e-commerce operations, building activities and implementing a Linux platform that decreased the total cost of ownership. He also managed the daily production aspects of the firm's B2B and Gateway.com, while leading a transformative rebuilding process from direct marketing to retail operations.

Mr. Sivadasan's achievements with Lenovo over the past six years include driving significant increase in the firm's internet business from consumer and small to medium-sized businesses, driving penetration of the business into newer global markets. Ajit Sivadasan has also contributed to significant increases in global profits through improved end-user experiences.
