Al Rosas is a Certified Culinary Professional (CCP) of Latino origin whose numerous television and live appearances as The Organic Chef earned him public acclaim and respect from his peers. More than 20 years ago, Al Rosas began raising 100 % grass-fed cattle, poultry, and pork on his family’s organic ranch in Citra, Florida. Al Rosas’ culinary skill, entrepreneurial success, and efforts towards sustainability have earned The Organic Chef numerous accolades, including the Sustainable Florida Small Business Practices Award, Culinary Entrepreneur of the Year, and Minority Business of the Year. In 2008, the United States Chamber of Commerce recognized Al Rosas with a Blue Ribbon Award for small business, and Le Cordon Bleu culinary school made the popular guest lecturer and instructor an honorary graduate. Al Rosas proudly provides health-conscious families and fellow restaurateurs with his organically raised, grass-fed “beneficial beef.” At Rosas’ Country Market, Al Rosas sells his signature organic beef, as well as The Organic Chef spice combinations and other cooking products the developed during his notable culinary career. Wild-caught seafood, hormone-free pork, poultry, venison, and lamb from participating farms offer additional gourmet options. Dog owners can even give their pets a taste of the organic life by purchasing Al Rosas’ special raw dog food blend. Rosas’ Country Market operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Local delivery service offers additional shopping convenience.
