Alejandra M. Salaverria

Ms. Alejandra M. Salaverria is Director of Global Structured Products at UBS Securities. As Business Manager/COO, she oversees the day-to-day global operation, stays current on business compliance issues, and assists in global client sales strategies for securitized products and asset-based financial markets, including residential and commercial mortgages, asset-backed securities, CDO's and other credit derivatives.

Previously at UBS, she was Director of Client and Stakeholder Management. She was responsible for researching market trends, producing analytics from client proprietary data, developing a global communication campaign for organizational transformation, and partnering in client database software development.

Prior to joining UBS Securities, Alejandra was Associate Director of Finance & Business Management at J.P. Morgan Chase in the Investment Bank Global Credit Risk unit. Previously, she was Associate Director for Finance and Relationship Manager at Columbia Business School.

Alejandra serves as Co-chair of the Membership Committee of the Columbia Business School Alumni Association of New York to recruit new members, retain existing members, and develop benefits to enhance membership value. As member of Team NY Rotary for 2012 ING New York City Marathon, Alejandra will be raising at least $7,400.

Alejandra speaks fluent Spanish and English and has a passion for French language and culture. She lives in Manhattan.

Ms. Alejandra Salaverria earned a B.S. and M.B.A. in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in 1989 and an M.S. in Operations Research with concentration in Finance from Columbia University in 2011.
