SENIOR COMMUNICATION ADVISER AT THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION'S HEALTH AND DIGITAL EXECUTIVE AGENCY (HaDEA)
With 25 years’ experience in corporate, consumer, internal and advocacy communications as well as crisis/reputation management and campaigning, Alex is currently a senior communication adviser at the European Commission's Health and Digital Executive Agency.
Prior to that she worked for another EU Executive Agency helping to promote SME innovation and sustainable projects. And previously she was Communication Director at WWF’s European Policy Office in Brussels for six years, covering environmental issues ranging from fisheries and renewable energy to water, sustainable food and nature protection.
She also has extensive European and International communication experience, having previously held positions at consultancies such as Weber Shandwick and Fleishman-Hillard in London, Brussels and Cape-Town. She has also worked in-house for Sony Europe handling European public relations and events for their IT division.
Alex has a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc H.) in Psychology from the University of Warwick, UK and a diploma in psychotherapy from the AFPC in Brussels (Association francophone de psychothérapie centrée sur la personne); and speaks English, French and Italian.
