Hi, I am Alex García, or as he is best known “Dr. Chiflón” (Dr. Whistle) is the Co-Founder of Doctor Payaso, a clown-care movement that brings joy and emotional support to hospitalized patients all over Mexico’s most important hospitals... since the pandemic, also remotely, by video conferences. He has a demonstrated history of working in hospitals & with those in the health care industry and specializes in volunteer training. He also co-Founded Felicidad que Sirve (Happiness that Serves) a company that focuses on strengthening and developing Resilience and Wellbeing for health care professionals and worldwide organizations through workshops, conferences, video capsules, etc. He has organized 3 years in a row, the National Congress: “Felicidad que Sirve” where over 1,100 doctors, nurses and medical students gathered every year. His area of greatest interest resides in teaching about how the medical professionals can go from stress and burnout into self-care, service and the transforming ability to being there for others. Besides his studies in Psychology, he is an International Business Coach (CBC) awarded by the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) in Canada, and an Ontological Coach by the Inter-American Academy of Coaching, (AIAC) Certificated in Teaching for Transformation from the Wholebeing Institute and a student in Positive Psychology from the Happiness Studies Academy of Tal Ben Shahar. He is one of the organizers and facilitators of the "Annual Clown trip" that Patch Adams and the Gesundheit Institute offers every year in Mexico since 2016.
