Alex Kime is a LEO Lecturer with The Program on Intergroup Relations in addition to being a writer, teaching artist, and transdisciplinary facilitator from Ann Arbor, Michigan. They received their Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan with a concentration in Social Policy and Evaluation as a National Community Scholar and previously received Highest Honors in Creative Writing & Literature as an undergraduate. They have worked at the Neutral Zone (a local nonprofit offering after-school programming for teenagers) for the past six years and have been involved with IGR for the past five in a variety of capacities. They have previously worked with the Educational Theatre Company, Honors College, and CASC Minor, among others. Their academic interests include postcolonialism, accessible education, critical history, and data-driven community empowerment.
