Alexandra (Lex) Hall-Pinner Lee is an illustrator, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She has worked on a variety of projects including personal children’s books, posters, logo design, character design, creature design, concept art, story boards, tattoo design, comic book art, holiday cards and web site art. Alexandra is passionate about digital painting, creature/horror design, animated film, activism for social injustice and human rights. Alexandra lives with her partner and two children, surviving on a weekly dose of photoshop, comic books and video games.

+ 2006-2009 Completed pre-college courses at the Academy of Art in several subjects: Beginner’s Comic Book Art, Intermediate Comic Book Art, Digital Photography and Fashion Design. Alexandra also completed a CCA enrichment course, Digital Drawing and Painting in Adobe Photoshop.

+ 2011-2017 Attended Diablo Valley College, where she accomplished her general education with a fine art emphasis. (AA in Fine Art and AA in Studio Art)

+Studied at the California College of the Arts in 2016 with an illustration and children's book focus.

+Alexandra has been working as an art consultant and illustrator at D.A.W.N. since 2014, and as a self employed freelance illustrator since 2015.

+ 2017-Present= Currently works by day as a paraeducator and inclusion specialist.
