Actress Alicia Cole is a Survivor of multiple hospital-acquired infections, including Necrotizing Fasciitis. Her two-day hospital stay turned into two months, six additional surgeries, near amputation of her leg and six years of aftercare and rehabilitation.

She survived to Co-Sponsored and lobby for passage of two California Laws for Patient Safety and Public Reporting of infection rates. She has become a tireless advocate for patient safety.
