Allen Bodner Attorney

An established attorney in New York City, Allen Bodner draws upon extensive experience with real estate law, corporate law, and related litigation in his distinguished legal career. In addition to operating a solo practice, attorney Allen Bodner serves as counsel to Cammeby’s International, a real estate development company with interests across the United States.

Over the years, Mr. Bodner has successfully argued several notable cases in real estate law and insurance law. In the federal case of Fischer v. Massachusetts Casualty Insurance Company, Mr. Bodner showed for the first time that the incontestable clause in an insurance policy should cover a preexisting condition that was unknown at the time of issue. Mr. Bodner also demonstrated in the Southern District court that sellers of art pieces should not have to surrender ownership of their art as a result of fraudulent activities committed by an agent during the importing of the art to the United States.

Mr. Bodner holds a bachelor’s degree and a law degree from Columbia University in New York City. He is an accomplished writer and lecturer on topics in Jewish history.
