Alton Delane

Drawing on decades of experience across a range of leadership roles, Alton Delane is a business development executive who currently serves as an advisor with Emissary.io, which he joined in May 2019. In this role, he helps company sales teams develop actionable strategies for developing new prospects within select fields. He is also an advisor for Dashible, a customer-engagement platform. Both companies are headquartered in New York. Before this, he worked with the law firm Dentons US, where he served as managing director for close to 10 years working with startups and venture capital firms.

Mr. Delane holds a BS in aerospace engineering from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland. There, he was named a Secretary of the Navy Distinguished Graduate and went on to serve in the Navy as a nuclear submarine officer, based in Charleston, South Carolina and later Groton, Connecticut. After military service, he earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1999.

A North Carolina resident, Alton Delane is a member of the Harvard Club of the Research Triangle, blood donation manager for the American Red Cross, co-leads the Career Network Ministry for his church and is a third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. For leisure pursuits, he enjoys fishing, cycling, skiing, and spending time with his family.
