She also worked for the Reveille newspaper, writing for the entertainment section. In the summer of 2018, she interned with SMG Venue Management at NRG Park as a Marketing and PR intern.

Amaya received scholarships from LSU, the LSU Family Association and the Manship School of Mass Communication to study abroad in Europe as the summer 2019 student media intern. After graduating, Amaya worked part-time as the Online Content Coordinator at Shoot2Sell Real Estate Photography where she began as a Social Media Intern in June 2020. A year into her time at Shoot2Sell, Amaya was offered a freelancing position as a content writer with Brand Ave. Studios. That freelancing position later became a full-time position as a Brand & Sponsorship Manager with their partner marketing agency, Amplified Digital Agency. After a few months, Amaya was then shifted into the role of Marketing Communications Manager where she was able to work with clients across industries to continue her passion for impactful storytelling through organic content.

Amaya is now looking for a full-time position in the communication field that allows her to continue her work as a high-impact storyteller.
