As owner of Ampersand Pets, LLC I have always had a love for animals. From growing up on a 62-acre farm in New Jersey to helping raise money for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, and have always looked out for the well being of animals.

I am currently Dog Mom to 2 Mini Schnauzers, Libby and Killian and two rescues including an American Bulldog, Cookie & mutt, (colors of a Beagle and body of a Whippet), Herman. Our ‘fur-family’ has enjoyed moving to Lakeland, as we love having the Diogi Dog Park close to home and we also enjoy The Downtown Farmers Curb Market in downtown Lakeland on Saturdays. We love The Doggie Bag Boutique and attend their monthly Yappy Hour events. Lakeland has proved to be VERY pet friendly and happy to call it home!

Before I launched my pet sitting business Ampersand Pets, LLC, I used to be a Legal Assistant at a large law firm in downtown Tampa. Over the years I have helped organize fellow animal lovers to donate to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay at their annual ‘Bark in the Park’ event in Tampa. Our group Team Barkin held Second Place for raising money in 2007. The following year 2008, Team Barkin came in 1st Place for raising over $8,000 for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. It was then that I knew that I could make a difference in animal’s lives.
