Instructional Technology Coach in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BS in Education and received my master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University. I taught 4th and 5th grade for 6 years in Oklahoma where I was Teacher of the Year for my campus and nominated for Outstanding Technology Educator for the Oklahoma Technology Association in 1999. I moved to Texas in 2000 and became an Instructional Technologist, Digital Coach and Instructional Technology Coach in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. I provided staff development in technology integration and worked with teachers and students to transform their classrooms. I specialized in the area of iPads and Chromebooks for grades K-5. I'm a Google Certified Educator (Levels 1 and 2), Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer and have presented at the Texas Computer Education Association and Oklahoma Technology Association conferences and well as various regional mini-conferences.
