Andrey Severyukhin, Sumsub co-founder and CEO, holds a degree in theoretical physics. He co-founded Sumsub in 2015 and today leads the company’s business development, global expansion, sales, and general operations. From humble roots as a small startup, Sumsub is now a leading verification platform with over 4,000 clients (including Vodafone, Avis, Duolingo, Kaizen Gaming, and TransferGo), more than 750 employees, and eight international offices. Many industries have now adopted Sumsub’s solutions, including crypto, fintech, gaming, transportation, and trading.

Sumsub aims to be a single answer to all onboarding and compliance challenges that provides bank-grade KYB, KYT, and KYC compliance, along with fraud prevention and AML screening. Mr. Severyukhin is a keen sportsman and has participated in both Ironman and Oceanman tournaments. He is very interested in medical biohacking to promote better quality of life and sport performance. Biohacking for fitness focuses primarily on enhancing athletic recovery, performance, and general health via customized strategies.

A longtime animal lover, Mr. Severyukhin has a dog called Nessie and has introduced a pet-friendly culture in Sumsub that has helped build an emotionally healthy and positive workplace. Sumsub has also supported local dog shelters in Cyprus, London, and Serbia.
