Anisuzzaman Chowdhury is best known as a director of a private bank launched by his father, Mr Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu, a veteran businessman and politician. In addition to this role, Mr Chowdhury also serves as chairman of three other companies: Navana Pharmaceuticals, Anowara Construction Ltd and Gas One. He is also a committed philanthropist, ranking as the most generous patron of both Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital and Upalabdhi Orphanage in Bangladesh.
