I am an environmental engineer and PhD in applied geology. At the University I approached the world of Open Source GIS and I developed some tools for several GIS.

During my PhD I had a 6 months period abroad at the University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign campus (IL) joining the Professor's Gary Parker morphodynamics research group focusing on the automatization of a predictive model on vertical sorting of sediments in sandy-gravel bed rivers.

Now I'm a Post-Doc researcher at the Institute Universitaire Européen de la Mer - joining the équipe Géomer (LETG - Brest) and my actual mission is to create a model able to harmonize heretogeneous data in order to map and monitor human activities on coastal zones.
