Arthur Denyer

Executive Coach, Pastor, and Non-profit Consultant based in Costa Rica

Arthur Denyer, a follower of Christ for 38 years, lives in Costa Rica with his wife Patricia, a pediatric nurse and university teacher. Together, they have two sons (26 and 22), and their family is deeply rooted in faith and service.

Initially trained as a psychologist, Arthur spent 26 years as a consultant in product development and consumer behavior across 12 Latin American countries, contributing to the food and beverage as well as pharmaceutical industries. Transitioning to a passion for leadership training, Arthur has dedicated the past 20 years to developing leaders and facilitators, alongside an 18-year involvement in parachurch ministry direction.

For over a decade, Arthur has been actively engaged with Development Associates International (DAI), a Christian non-profit spanning 70+ countries. In his role, he serves as a facilitator for non-formal education, a mentor for Christian leaders, and primarily as an organizational consultant mostly focusing on governance, strategic planning, and conflict resolution.

With ample management experience and certification in executive coaching, Arthur serves as Regional Director for Latin America at PastorServe, a Christian non-profit that specializes in pastoral coaching and soul care for pastors and senior ministry leaders in the United States, Haiti and Latin America. Alongside his dedicated team, they currently support close to 100 ministry leaders in 18 Latin American countries.

Outside of his professional commitments, Arthur serves on the board of several non-profits. He is deeply passionate about one-on-one pastoring, finds solace in contemplative spirituality, leads spiritual retreats, and offers certified spiritual direction. During his leisure time, he enjoys motorcycle rides, savoring good coffee, and delving into theological and spiritual growth literature. If given the choice, Arthur would prefer chocolate to vanilla, dogs to cats, mountains to beaches, and cloudy days to sunny ones.
