Audrey Buchner is a San Diego-area resident who maintains a strong community presence and has volunteered at the schools of her four children in various capacities. Among Audrey Buchner’s responsibilities has been as room parent, advisory parent, and board member of the Rancho Santa Fe School Education Foundation. Her roles included co-leading the Kind to the Core program and serving as team parent with a number of sports teams.

A graduate of Yale University, Ms. Buchner earned her BA in Ethics, Politics, and Economics and graduated with cum laude honors. Among her accomplishments was authoring "Gender Inequity in Math and Science Achievement,” which earned the Senior Essay Prize. She is a longtime Yale College Alumni Fund member who has supported fundraising efforts of the Class of 1994 Volunteer Committee and engaged as 10th Reunion Gift Co-Chair.

From 2004 to 2015, Audrey Buchner additionally held a position as governing board member with the Yale University Art Gallery and served on its Education Committee. Among her accomplishments was providing guidance at a critical time when the Gallery was undergoing historical renovation.
