Avi Polischuk

A graduate of George Washington University, Avi Polischuk is the owner and president of R&S United Services, a union contracting firm. Since joining the company founded by his father, he has managed the firm’s sheet metal and pipe fabrication facilities and handled all contract negotiations in the local new construction high rise market. Under Avi Polischuk's leadership, the firm became a leading HVAC system provider in the New York Metro area.

In his position, Avi Polischuk defines the various goals and missions for the firm's staff of around 120 people. As one of New York’s only self-performing firms, R&S United Services is also able to compete in the non-union market due to its Design Build Engineering approach and its self performing business strategy. In recent years, the firm successfully pursued high rise construction in the non-union market through the use of a competitive bid approach that Avi Polischuk developed and coordinated with local unions.

Outside of work, Mr. Polischuk enjoys supporting the community through regular donations to Smile Train, Fisher House, Wounded Warrior, and more. In honor of his father, he also recently created the Annual Fred Polischuk Academic Scholarship, which is available to employees’ children attending accredited higher education institutions. In his free time, he enjoys boating, kayaking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
