Emily Kucukalic is a marketing and branding specialist with extensive experience across a range of industries, products and services. She is the Managing Director of the Brand New You Group, a marketing and consultancy firm she founded in 2009.
The Brand New You Group incorporates Brand New You and BNY. Brand New You specialises in creating personal branding plans for executives and professional services firms. BNY offers a full suite of personal and corporate marketing support services. BNY's individual and corporate clients are a range of highly skilled professionals from diverse backgrounds including some of Australia's largest companies.
Using her expertise as a marketing and branding professional Emily has created a personal branding and leadership programme using traditional marketing techniques to build the profiles of the individual and their business.
For more than five years, Emily has built a reputation as an entertaining and insightful speaker on Personal Branding, building personal presence and leadership development. She is now in demand Australia - wide and regularly gives seminars for a number of Asia's leading companies including the Westpac Group, Hewlett Packard and The University of Sydney.
In addition to the personal branding side of the busines, BNY undertakes traditional marketing and branding contracts to a number of both start up and established Australian companies.
Prior to starting Brand New You, Emily was part of AGL's Executive Leadership team, where she was the Group Head of Brand and External Relations. Emily joined AGL after three years at EDS Asia Pacific as Marketing and Communications Director where her team spanned the region including China, India and Japan.
An Ernst and Young Entrepreneurship prize winner and finalist in the 2000 Telstra Business Woman of the Year Award. Emily has 15 years working in strategic sales, branding and marketing roles in the IT&T and energy industries.
While working for Lucent, Emily was a winner of Lucent Leadership Awards in 2000, 2001 and 2002 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Honours in Marketing from the University of Western Australia. Emily has been a board member of Plaut Australia Pty Ltd, a private IT services firm. Emily is currently a member of NSW Premier's Register for Boards and Committtees.
