Behzad Emad

Dr. Behzad Emad is a California-based medical professional who serves as eOccMed.com’s medical director, a position where he works with and diagnoses patients through telemedicine. Before starting his career, Dr. Behzad Emad attended the State University of New York and graduated with a BS in chemistry in 1990 and an MD in 1994.
Following this, he pursued an internship and a residency at the University of California, Los Angeles, which he completed in 1995 and 1998, respectively. Throughout his career, Dr. Emad has earned a variety of professional certificates, such as being a qualified medical evaluator, as well as holding a fluoroscopy supervisor and operator permit.
Dr. Behzad Emad has worked with several medical centers and practices during his career, such as the City of Angels Medical Center, where he served as director, and the California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery. He is also affiliated with the UCLA Residency Program, where he serves as a staff physiatrist.
