Ben Carter Jr. worked as the Vice President at Atlanta-based real estate firm, Ben Carter Properties, from 2005 until 2011. Benjamin strived for perfection during his tenure, aiming consistently to ensure that the company was able to maintain its strong reputation in its four areas of specialization namely, leasing, development, brokerage and asset management. Benjamin joined the company in 2005 after graduating from the College of Charleston where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He was also a key member of the development team. Benjamin Carter Jr. was in charge of the marketing and sale of peripheral land at existing and future projects including but not limited to outparcels, hotel, and multi-family tracts. He was directly involved in the company’s various operational aspects. Benjamin Carter Jr. identified the appropriate use for each master-planned site and procured the proper retailers to fulfill market demand. He expertly worked on the sale or lease of parcels at Columbus Park Crossing South, St John’s Town Center, The Mall of Georgia, and over 30 outparcels in various developments.
Benjamin Carter Jr. owns and operates four Steak ‘n Shake restaurants in South Carolina under his own firm, Carolina SNS, LLC. Carolina SNS, LLC owns the franchise rights for Steak ‘n Shake in South Carolina territories along with one location in Eastern Georgia. Whenever he can, he listens to customers’ stories of their childhood memories at Steak ‘n Shake, sharing his own experiences with them. He himself grew up with Steak ‘n Shake. He enjoys hearing many of his customers’ stories about the brand and their childhoods.
