A business and financial services professional with a keen interest in global politics and foreign policy, Benjamin Spacapan attended Princeton University, where he studied history with a concentration in Near Eastern History. Two of his mentors at Princeton included a professor from the national intelligence services and an exiled leader of the 1968 pro-democratic Polish student uprising. Benjamin Spacapan’s senior thesis on the Hashemite monarchy in Jordan won a University Prize in Asian History. He earned his bachelor of arts with cum laude distinctions in 2012.

Since July 2014, Benjamin Spacapan has served as an associate with H.I.G. Capital in Miami, Florida. His duties revolve around managing middle market private equity portfolios and completing due diligence on various investment opportunities. Spacapan also develops financial models, provides transaction support, and coordinates relationships between external and internal support teams.

An avid world traveler who has resided in the Middle East for several months, he speaks both English and French.
