Welcome to my Blog!
Please feel free to make a coffee and have a browse through my blogs. You will discover my passions in the media arts discipline. Whilst I have worked as an amateur photographer for years, I have an interest in media that helps people rethink storytelling. My curiosity and passion for storytelling allow me to take advantage of learning opportunities.
The stories we tell each-other whilst taking a break from a gruelling task, to seek reassurance that we will make it through. The short messages we heard that later turned out to be quite profound to our experience. These are the stories I would like to help bring to life for my clients. Whether it be with the branding decisions they make, or the internal campaigns, they develop to improve the working environment. Being able to connect with stokeholds, we depend on to support or ventures in a way that conveys understanding and confidence, is a skill everyone needs in their toolbox, and I am ready to work.
I am currently attending Murdoch University, studying Creative Media and Communication to gain a double degree. My experience as a freelance photographer has given me access to creative avenues of expression that allow me to showcase my passion. My time at Murdoch has also allowed me to attain opportunities with a new business demographic and to work with other creatives. I have been able to strengthen my brand with the guidance of industry professionals.
Creativity being a fundamental driver of the work I engage in, creativity would need to be a key feature of my working relationship with and employer. I am seeking an employer that respects an individual and the creative
process. As in any workplace, communication is key to the employee-employer relationship. Open and transparent communication is a highly considered factor when I envision myself joining a new team. An employer who listens to and encourages feedback and responds appropriately. My employer would need to understand my skill level and work with me at that level.
I look forward to creating positive relationships in a new workplace. Thank you for taking the time to find out a little more about me.
