Part of a larger collective of congregations, Boston International Christian Church is a nondenominational institution and member of the SoldOut Discipling Movement. Located in Allston, Massachusetts, Boston International Christian Church is guided by five core convictions. It also takes into account the “first principles,” which were originally written back in 1980, and holds to a philosophy of reading and abiding by the entire Bible, which it believes is the inspired and inerrant word of God.

In accordance with its primary teachings, the organization and its affiliated institutions are expanding throughout the U.S., as well as to countries around the globe, through the Operation Eagle and Crown of Thorns evangelism initiatives. The Crown of Thorns and Operation Eagle both structure the expansion through new church “plantings,” and so far a total of 20 states and 100 countries have successful plantings. The Crown of Thorns Project outlines a plan for world evangelism by location and date, laid out in three phases. Phase one is already complete, with churches planted in all six populated, continents around the globe.

The organization is also dedicated to supporting numerous charitable organizations. These include MERCYWorldwide, the American Red Cross, and the International College of Christian Ministry, which is an accredited university that offers bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees in four ministry tracks.
