Brandi Rand is a rockstar wife, an amazing mom to two boys, and an award-winning advertiser.
In her 16+ years in marketing and advertising Brandi has launched digital and integrated marketing campaigns for AT&T, Bank of America, Toyota Motors North America, Samsung, and Uber; and has partnered with major media outlets including ESPN, ABC, OWN, Essence, and BET. From the Soul Train and NAACP Image Awards to The College Football Championship and The Masters Tournament, she has worked her social media magic.
As a speaker, Brandi educates audiences on branding, influence, networking, diversity, self-care, and social media. Brandi was a featured speaker at the Multicultural Bootcamp held by She Runs It in NYC at Paramount in November 2023. In 2019, Brandi led a discussion on natural hair in corporate America at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference titled Pressed: Natural Hair in the Workplace with Ryann Richardson, Miss Black USA 2019, and Adjoa Asamoah a pioneer of the historic Crown Act. In June 2020 she sat on a panel discussing being Black in advertising, titled Black Lives Have Always Mattered to Us, moderated by Ryan Smith, ESPN, and ABC Legal Correspondent presented by her then agency, Burrell Communications. Other stages she has graced include the Mom 2.0 Conference, Black Girl Digital Awards, and Social Fresh. on networking this fall.
Brandi is an advocate for women, diversity, and social justice and has lent her expertise to social justice and non-profit organizations including M.O.B.B. (Mothers of Black Boys) United, Dress for Success Dallas, and Silence the Shame. She also served two years as the inaugural Comms Director for the Dallas chapter of ColorComm, a business community for women of color in the communications industry, and served 3 terms as Diversity Co-Chair for the American Advertising Federation Dallas Chapter.
