Brandie Shupe

I am a nineteen year old college student. I am studying to become an elementary school teacher. I had been studying pastry art but I realized it was not for me. I think I need to teach children because our youth is going downhill. A few things you should know about me is I am hardly ever serious and I am extremely timid. I prefer to joke around than take things too seriously unless it is about school or work. Because of the way I have grown up, I have made a promise to myself never to drink, smoke, or do any recreational drugs. I have a yellow rose tattoo on the front of my shoulder as a reminder of my papaw, who passed away on June 15, 2011. He was the only man in my life who I knew I could count on. I really want other tattoos in the future like max and the monsters from Where the Wild Things Are on my feet, a sugar skull on my thigh, and some quote from a Chuck Palahniuk book on my back. Religion is not important to me; I want to live my life doing what I think is right rather then live my life for what something that may or may not exist thinks. As for politics I am independent but I think I lean more to the democratic side. As for my movie taste I love horror movies. For music, I listen to mellow, folk, indie music, and I love discovering new artists. I am very much into macabre things, the darker things in lfe are interesting.
