Brandon Tidwell

Brandon Tidwell founded the technology start-up advisory company Signal Peak Ventures in 2011 and has led the firm as managing director ever since. Signal Peak Ventures began as a spinoff of Canopy Ventures, another Utah operation that Brandon Tidwell served as managing director. Prior to concentrating his business activities on technology consulting, he spent five years as an attorney with the San Francisco Bay Area firms Latham & Watkins LLP and Ballard Spahr LLP. In these positions, Brandon Tidwell gained experience in corporate law, structured finance, and mergers and acquisitions, areas he now explores with high-tech entrepreneurs as they grapple with the complex legal and financial tasks involved in launching a technology company.

Brandon Tidwell studied accounting at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and earned a bachelor of science and later a master’s degree in accounting. When he is not providing consulting services to portfolio companies at Signal Peak Ventures, he spends time as a youth leader with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is also involved in the community as a Little League and youth football coach.
