San Diego, California, native Brian Borg has nearly two decades of experience in areas of planning, organization, and management, as a human resources and risk management professional. Prior to launching his career, Brian Borg studied philosophy at San Diego State University, graduating summa cum laude with outstanding graduate honors from the philosophy department faculty.
Away from work, Mr. Borg enjoys leading a healthy, physically active lifestyle. He is particularly fond of weightlifting and undertaking day hikes in and around San Diego. A few of his preferred hiking destinations include Torrey Pines State Reserve, Cuyamaca State Park, Cowles Mountain, and Mission Trails Regional Park.
Brian Borg also enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He has visited nearly every state in the country and has spent time at a number of national parks, including Pinnacles and Zion, as well as other historic outdoor sites, such as the Grand Canyon and Death Valley. Beyond his love of nature, a few of his interests include playing guitar and listening to a wide variety of music, from early blues to heavy metal bands like Black Sabbath and Slayer.
