Brit Railston

Financial services executive Brit Railston received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ambassador University in 1993. In his time at Ambassador, Railston minored in Theology as well as serving as the president of the Ambassador Speaking Club his senior year. Post Ambassador, Brit Railston furthered his education at Notre Dame Graduate School of Business, where he earned a Master of Business Administration in 1994. Railston began his career with Strong Capital Management, Inc, in Milwaulkee, WI, and is currently the managing director of RBC Markets.

Brit Railston was employed as Derivatives Investment Specialist with Strong Capital Management, Inc, from 1994-1995. In his tenure at SCM, Railston was responsible for supervising the use of CMO's, note, swap, forward, futures and options contract activity. After SCM, Brit Railston moved to Robert W. Baird, inc.

Brit Railston filled the position of NASDAQ Trading Assistant at Robert W. Baird, Inc, a financial services firm voted one of FORTUNE’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. Railston assisted both the head of desk and the number one NASDAQ Producer. Railston’s success at Baird led him to his present position at RBC Capital Markets (formerly Dain, Rauscher, Wessels).

Railston has worked with RBC in the fields of equity and sales trading for fifteen years. As Managing Director of RBC, Brit Railston supervises RBC’s offices, in conjunction with the company’s 25 producers, in Boston, Dallas, and Chicago, and is in daily contact with RBC’s most valuable equity clients. Brit Railston oversees seventy million dollars in annual revenue and heads marketing of RBC’s international services.

Outside of his role at RBC, Railston is a husband and father of two daughters, one and six. Brit Railston is a committed a member of his local church⎯he regularly gives speeches to his congregation.
