Healthcare Entrepreneur in Miami, FL, US

I am a healthcare entrepreneur, CEO, and nurse based in Miami, Florida, with a passion for creating technologies that can address meaningful challenges in healthcare. As the founder and CEO of Hallstat and the founder of Nurvana, I have focused much of my career on medical device product design, engineering, manufacturing, and healthcare innovation.

I was born in Los Angeles and raised in Miami by immigrant parents from Cuba and Ecuador. Their experiences helped shape my work ethic, determination, and entrepreneurial mindset. I studied at Keiser University and have also completed certifications through the Wharton School of Business, expanding my knowledge at the intersection of healthcare and business.

Throughout my career, I have worked to transform ideas into tangible products and technologies. I hold multiple issued patents and have additional patent-pending technologies, reflecting my interest in solving problems through thoughtful design and development. In 2019, I was recognized as a Top 100 Healthcare Leader at the IFAH conference.

Today, I continue to pursue new opportunities in healthcare innovation. My current work includes raising capital and advancing the development of a potential drug intended to help patients recover from ischemic stroke.
