Bruce Weyhrauch

With more than three decades of legal experience, Bruce Weyhrauch guides a successful practice in Southeast Alaska and handles matters ranging from natural resources to regulatory issues. Experienced in construction and labor law, he also provides counsel in cases requiring litigation. Bruce Weyhrauch is admitted to practice before the Alaska Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Well published in his field, Mr. Weyhrauch operated as the editor-in-chief of Environmental Law while studying for his JD at the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College. He counts “Oil Spills: Private Party Lawsuits and Limitations” (Land and Water Law Review, 1992) among several articles he authored during this period or shortly thereafter.
Active in his community, Bruce Weyhrauch serves as the president for his chapter of Toastmasters International. He functioned in a similar capacity on the Board of the Alaska Commercial Fishermen’s Memorial, and serves as Trustee of Chapel by the Lake and on the board of directors of the Foundation For End of Life Care, Inc., Rotary International, the Juneau Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc., Juneau Economic Development Council, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and on Southeast Alaska Boy Scout Executive Board.
