Burke Strunsky is a recently elected California Superior Court Judge with a 6-year term that began in January of 2017. Most recently, Strunsky was a Senior Deputy District Attorney working in Riverside County, previously serving as an Assistant District Attorney for San Francisco. Strunsky specialized on the prosecution of crimes against children and homicide cases. He was twice named top Riverside County Prosecutor in 2008 and 2011. He has led the prosecution teams in cases featured on national news programs including Dateline NBC and 20/20.

Strunsky is the author of the book, The Humanity of Justice: Lighting Even The Darkest Path Toward Justice, a procedural true-crime book, exploring fundamental criminal justice concepts and the human qualities that animate the courtroom. One hundred percent of the proceeds from The Humanity Of Justice is donated to The Humanity of Justice Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Strunsky to help prevent child abuse and neglect.
