CHYK West Ann Arbor

CHYK, or Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, is the global youth wing of Chinmaya Mission and was formed in 1975 with the blessings of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. Chinmaya Mission is a worldwide organization, established in India in 1953, with the mission "to provide to individuals, from any background, the wisdom of Vedanta and the practical means for spiritual growth and happiness, enabling them to become positive contributors to society."The purpose of CHYK is to promote Hindu culture and the logic of spirituality through study, group discussions, fellowship, and service.

CHYK West Ann Arbor -- as a part of CHYK West -- strives to unite young adults by providing a forum to explore, discuss, and practice Vedanta while strengthening their lives in every endeavor.
